What a wonderful feeling, to have NO SNOW days and it is almost the 1st day of March!!!! Thanks to Old Man Winter it is looking like we are going to get out for the summer on May 17. This will make for a long and relaxing summer for all. The calendar has not yet been approved as to when the start date for the 2012-13 school year will be. I will post any information that is new in upcoming blogs.
A few dates that you will want on your calendar for the month of March:
- Donuts for Dads March 2
- Muffins for Moms March 9
- Elementary Art Show Week of March 12
- Early out 2:20 March 13 (end of 3rd Quarter)
- Variety Show March 16 (Matinee 1:30 and show at 7:00)
- Early out 1:30 March 22
- Carnival March 23
- Senior Trip March 22-28
There are lots of fun and exciting things to look forward to in the month of March. We hope that you will be able to share some of them with us.
The Iowa Assessment testing is complete and we are waiting for results for grades 3-6. Grades 7-11 results have been returned and they did a great job. Look for further updates on their scores.
